Indium vacuum distillation furnace, which is a metal distillation furnace, is consisted of the vacuum distillation furnace, vacuum pump, filter, enclosed water cooling tower, central control system, working platform. The vacuum furnace is consisted of furnace body, graphite crucible, condenser, electric control equipment, medium-frequency power supply and other devices.
The graphite crucible and the metal inside the crucible are heated using middle frequency induction electromagnetic coil; the hearth temperature gradually reaches to 1000℃ and keep the temperature for 4~5 hours. The saturated vapor pressures of In, Zn, Cd, Tl and Pb are different, the Zn, Cd and other impurities will vaporise, enter the condenser and turn into the solid state, while most In metal keeps as liquid state; in this way, the Impurities like Zn and Cd are separated from the In metal.
